Billing and Collections Specialist

Remote role in Albania

As a Billing and Collections Specialist, your responsibilities will include preparing and dispatching invoices to our customers using internal tools and the accounting system. Additionally, you will manage the collection process for overdue balances in accordance with contract terms and designated payment methods.

What are we looking for:

Must haves:

  • Minimum of 5 years of working experience in billing and collections, preferably with corporate clients.
  • Excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written, with strong communication skills.
  • Agile and proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
  • Well-organized and responsible, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work fully online, with proficient Excel skills and experience working with different operational systems.
  • Openness to work with an international team, demonstrating cultural sensitivity and adaptability.

Nice to have:

  • French language proficiency is a plus, adding value to our diverse, multilingual environment.
  • Experience in dealing with corporate clients is important, reflecting an understanding of their unique needs and expectations.
  • QuickBooks experience is a plus.

What will you do:

  • Manage the entire billing and collection process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in invoice creation and distribution.
  • Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities.
  • Perform account reconciliations/offsets and process adjustments as necessary to maintain accurate records.
  • Communicate with clients by emails and phone to resolve billing disputes and follow payment arrangements when necessary.
  • Prepare procedures, detailed reports on billing and collection activity with clear and reliable data.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as applicable laws and regulations.
  • Use the accounting system, internal operational systems, automation, and high-volume files and data.
  • Collaborate with sales and customer service departments to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction.
