Erlang Developer

What are we looking for:

Must haves:

• 5+ years’ experience with Erlang and OTP framework.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, ensuring the delivery of high-quality code and robust solutions.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, enabling effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
• Ability and willingness to take ownership and work independently or as part of a team.
• Proven track record of meeting project deadlines and following established development processes.

Nice to have:

• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
• Experience or knowledge with PHP, MySQL, Linux, Python, PHP, JavaScript, or Bash.
• Understanding of telecommunications protocols (e.g., SIP, RTP) and network technologies.

What will you do:

• Participate in the entire software development life cycle.
• Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable, fault-tolerant, and distributed systems using Erlang/OTP.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Conduct testing and debugging of Erlang applications to ensure the reliability and performance of the software.
• Monitor and optimize system performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks and potential issues.
• Create software documentation and update existing documentation.
• Implement company’s best practices, standards and procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure successful integration of Erlang components into systems and products.
