In July, we had Fun at Work with a Geography Quiz Contest that took place in an online get-together event in Zoom. Nobel team members from different countries of the world joined in to test their geography knowledge and compete for one of the surprise prizes we gave away.
This was a great opportunity for the geography buffs in our Nobel team to show off their mastery on subjects related to the 25+ countries represented in our company, but also about world geography at large. We learned a lot of new things about world capital cities, landforms, bodies of water, climate, flora, fauna and much more, in an effort to discover the natural landscapes of the variety of countries that are home to our team members all over the globe.
The fastest participants in guessing the highest number of right answers at our Geography Quiz Contest were rewarded accordingly, but we were all winners in the end as we got to spend quality time together as a team, meet colleagues with whom we don’t usually cross paths in our daily work projects and discover their hidden interest in geography related topics.
Our monthly Fun at Work activities always bring us closer and offer us the chance to interact with fellow teammates in an informal setting. While most of our roles are entirely remote, these virtual events are highly appreciated and valuable for the continuous improvement of our multicultural collaboration.
