Global Diversity Awareness Month this October was the perfect opportunity to focus even more on the beauty that comes with having a multicultural team made of members from over 20 countries worldwide.

Here at Nobel we celebrate and cherish our diverse team all year round, but we dedicated the special month of October to bringing even more appreciation to the cultural variety that is present in our global family.

Our colleagues from all over the world, spread out on 5 different continents, create a truly diverse team that we feel grateful to learn something new from every day.Whileeach of us is differently unique, we are all the same, united by our Nobel values.

In October, we had a great time together enjoying special activities, challenges and events that were both fun and insightful:

• Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Champions, part of our Nobel Team Members Recognition Program, where we put a spotlight on those amazing colleagues who promote diversity, equity and inclusion on a daily basis in the workplace.

• Culture Guides, which are valuable resources and materials to help our team members learn more about their colleagues’ countries, traditions, national heritage, communication styles and more.

• Culture Exchange Challenge, in which all colleagues were invited to share something special about their native culture with the rest of the team worldwide.

• I am welcome & I belong, a challenge where we shared with the rest of the team the reasons that give us a sense of belonging to the Nobel team.

• Fashion from Around the World Contest, in which we shared on social media some traditional clothing or reinterpreted modern items from the fashion heritage of our native countries.

• “United Horizons: Enhancing Multicultural Collaboration” workshop, during which we obtained a better understanding and appreciation for cultural differences, while also improving our communication skills within a multicultural environment.

Our strength as a team lies within the multitude of cultural backgrounds that create the backbone of our Nobel family. Together we create the sum and more of all these culture, our own Nobel culture, where every team members leave their mark and contribute to the shared identity of our international group.
