Having colleagues from over 25 countries worldwide, here at Nobel we appreciate and celebrate the diversity of our team all year round, but Global Diversity Awareness Month this October was an extra special occasion to focus even more on the multicultural quality of our team.
We dedicated the whole month of October to fully appreciating and celebrating our wonderfully diverse Nobel team through activities that are linked to our internal programs – Fun at Work, Be Well and Excel, and Colors of Nobel!
During Global Diversity Awareness Month we learned even more about each other’s culture and we connected with colleagues from the other side of the world through these special activities and events:
- Traditional Food Challenge, where we shared our favorite traditional food recipes in celebration of World Food Day which took place on October 16th.
- “Let’s Take a Trip!” get-together event in Zoom, where we did some armchair traveling to Brazil, Liberia, Albania and Romania with the help of travel tips presentations from our colleagues.
- Quiz Contest with Prizes, in which we shattered some stereotypes about our native countries and reinforced some true beliefs about our home lands.
- Nobel Academy – Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, where the entire team took some online educational courses to enrich our knowledge about working in a multicultural environment.
Plus, we launched our Colors of Nobel Video depicting our multicultural team in its full glory!
We are very proud that we have grown to become a truly multicultural family, each of us differently unique, yet all the same, united by our Nobel values.
