As part of our Colors of Nobel program, dedicated to diversity and inclusion within our team, we attended a webinar on Multicultural Collaboration to help us improve our awareness about the cultural differences in our global team.  

We learned new practical communication models for a better multicultural collaboration from our guest speaker Petar Kosovac, who is a corporate trainer and coach with global business experience.

It was very useful to address topics like what happens when cultures collide in the work environment, how we can best communicate with team members based on the cultural type of their behavior or how to recognize and deal with micro-aggression.  

Even though we might all have a slightly different view of the world depending on our cultural background, we can always find common ground by learning to know each other and understand each other so we can better communicate and collaborate at work.

Much needed and well received, this virtual event gathered participants from our teams all over the world and created many aha moments which will help us connect even more with our colleagues from other cultures from now on.
